Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Durable hybrid penstemons selected from crosses made by Bruce Meyers between Mexican and American wild penstemons. Narrow, dark green leaves form an attractive mound. Pikes Peak Purple chimes in with violet purple flowers all summer. It thrives in a range of sites and soils.
Similar in all respects to 'Red Rocks', but with rich purple blossoms.
Small purple flowers that bloom all summer long and into fall. Sun along the coast, shade further inland. Attrtacts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
Bright violet-purple flowers make this 12-15" bi-national (American and Mexican species were used) hybrid an awfully pretty picture in late spring; a Panyotti (Denver BG) creation, i.e. guaranteed good! Sun/Med/GdDrain
