Salvia greggii 'Furman's Red' was introduced to cultivation in the 1970s and remains one of the best and most vigorous autumn sage cultivars. It grows 2-3 feet tall and wide with small semi-evergreen, aromatic leaves and masses of bright red flowers from black stamens all summer long.
