A dioecious species, this is a female form, with sulfur yellow flowers with faint reddish veining and purple pistils, males forms, which flower less freely, produce pale yellow to near white unveined flowers with pink anthers, it is a beautiful plant from the stony areas of Greece and quite slow to multiply. ZONE 5
It's basically a pale yellow flowering Geranium, to which Erodium are closely related. This makes it a very unique plant. Grows in mounds of feathery, silvery green leaves. Likes well drained soil.
Mound-forming to 12" and spreading to 2' with silver stems and finely cut, fernlike leaves. In spring and summer small sprays of cup-shaped, creamy-yellow flowers add a perfect contrast to the foliage. Use in rock gardens, containers, or mixed borders. Hardy to 10F. Greece.
Delicate filagreed silvery green foliage form tidy clumps ton 4-6" high and 8-10" wide. Palest yellow 5 petaled flowers are born in spring and early summer. Prefers excellent drainage and full sun.
