Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This New Zealand hybrid forms a mounding or only slightly vining plant, to only 2' tall or so, with parsley-like, evergreen leaves that turn deep maroon in the depths of winter. A colorful and welcome accent in the cold garden. From late winter to mid spring, chartreuse bell flowers appear, standing out against the darkened foliage. Fine in sun with coolish roots, good drainage, and regular summer water. Frost hardy to 10 to 15 °F, mid USDA zone 8.
