Nursery contributed plant descriptions

(AKA LIGULARIA TUSSILAGINEA ARGENTEUM) Fantastic foliage perennial, two feet high and wide (wider over time) clumps of large round leaves to 10” across lavishly blotched and edged with cream and often suffused with rose hues! Evergreen to Zone 8, requires constantly moist, rich soils and part shade. Also glorious in a pot as a specimen (grows well indoors too). Unexpected yellow daisies in fall add mystique. Grow it where Impatiens thrive and it will be a happy camper!
An evergreen form in cultivation for many years though never common, this slow grower for dappled shade and moist soil produces 6-8" delicately rounded leaves streaked dark green and white. Great plant for containers or to add brightness to a shade spot. Frost hardy and evergreen to mid USDA zone 8; regrows in spring with mulch in zone 7.
