    Improved Meyer Lemon is a broadleaf evergreen shrub or tree with green foliage. In fall, spring, summer and winter white flowers emerge followed by orange and yellow fruit. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    Improved version of this famous citrus originally from China and thought to be a cross between a true lemon and a mandarin orange. The fruit is about the size and shape of a true lemon with a slight orange tint to the ripe fruit. Best frost hardiness and fruit ripening found in a baking hot spot such as near a south or west brick wall, or in a hothouse. Frost hardy to 20 °F, USDA zone 9, or upper 8 if protected. Can be kept in containers for many years.
