Blooming from mid to late winter and into early spring, the delicate flowers give way to fluffy seed heads. Grow in an area protected from heavy frosts. Pruning group A.

Winter blooming, showing off from November to February in Oregon, the fragrant flowers are pale cream and flecked red inside. Leaves are deeply cut and tinted bronze -- just a bit. Sun to part shade in rich soil with good drainage and average summer water. Cold hardy to USDA zone 7.
