This is a great dwarf variety of the southern evergreen magnolia. Upright, dense habit has dark green, leathery foliage with a cinnamon brown fuzz on the underside. White, fragrant flowers cover the small tree in summer. This cultivar flowers at an early age.
Smaller leaves on a smaller compact tree. Probably the smallest growing Southern Magnolia available. Could be used as an evergreen hedge . May only grow 20? tall after 20+ years. Often reblooms throughout the summer. Awards: Georgia Gold Medal Winner Recommended by: the United States National Arboretum.

One of the smallest of the evergreen, south magnolias, slowly to only 15-20' tall x 8-10' wide, with dark green, glossy leaves and bronze indumentum on the undersides. Habit is upright and dense. Flowers when young with fragrant, white, showy flowers in spring. Very useful in the small garden. Best in sun to part shade with regular summer water until well established. Frost hardy to 0 °F, USDA zone 7.
