Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Shared with us by plantsman Ted Stevens after being obtained from a garden center in Japan. An upright shrub, to about 6' tall with thick, almost succulent evergreen, 3" leaves, and striking, hanging clusters of tubular, waxy flowers, white in this form, in spring and sometimes throughout summer. A rather new and interesting texture for woodland or full sun with occasional summer water. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
