Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Delightful hybrid introduced from the United Kingdom and shared with us by Hedgerows Nursery. S. 'Newleaze Coral' grows gleefully into a 3-4', airy, rounded shrublet with 1", cupped flowers that appear slightly more orange to us than coral, but either way sit beautifully and delicately from April through autumn against the fine, pointed gray-green leaves. We have pruned ours back yearly to maintain compactness. Well-drained soil, Full sun to only lightly dappled shade. Good container plant. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7, possibly 6.
