Delicate texture and interesting color changes make this 6' laceleaf one of the nicest... finely divided leaves are flecked with cream and gold and the silver green bark is striped with white; stake for a rounded cascading small tree. PSh/M
Dissectum. A laceleaf with cream and green or yellow and green variegated leaves. The deeply-dissected leaves appear feathery.
This cultivar is not widely found in the plant trade even though J .D Vertrees says that it is probably his favorite among the smaller weepers. Filigree as the name implies is a feathery green lace leaf maple that grows slow and tight. One of the smallest of the dissectum group. Filigree requires shade in the afternoon to prevent the fine green lace leaves from burning in the hot sun. Ideal for a small garden or water feature because it is slow growing. This rare and unusual maple is a good selection for either a patio container or as a focal point in a small garden. Once established hardy to USDA zone 6. Fall colors blend from yellow to gold. Many prefer Filigree over Viridis and Waterfall for a shady area.

DISSECTUM, green. This is an outstanding dissected maple. Light, yellow-green leaves of extremely delicate texture are flecked with minute speckles of cream and pale gold. Like most dissectums, the growth is pendulous. Densely branched and easy to grow.
