Attractively marbled leaves make this 6-8' shrub a handsome addition for any shrub border, however when it?s covered by bright scarlet flowers (and hummingbirds!) in spring, it?s really something! S-PSh/M
A red flowered variety with wonderful cream to white and green textured foliage. This 5' shrub is outstanding anywhere.

Variegated form of the flowering currant, deciduous, to 10 x 10', with small, maple-like leaves, emerging green and maturing with splashes of creamy white -- the opposite development of most variegations. Hanging racemes of rose-red flowers appear in spring before the leaves appear. The dark fruit that follows is beloved by birds -- and people, too, for preserves. Bright sun and lean soil is best with very little summer water. Frost hardy in USDA zone 6. Sorry, cannot ship to the eastern United States.
