Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Brightly variegated leaves make this low-maintenance evergreen shrub standout! Creamy-white and green foliage is tinged with pink in spring. Brilliant-white flowers in spring become wonderfully bright orange-red berries in autumn. Nice upright growth to 5-8' and this cultivar is somewhat less thorny than some others. Drought-tolerant once established and deer resistant. S/M-D
Variegated foliage is pink-white-green in spring and fall, becoming just white variegated in summer, fruits are orangish red; like many variegated plants it is not a fast growing as the green forms, and will only reach 6' or so, with thorns less vicious than some.
Hard to find evergreen shrub with sprightly variegated foliage, upright to 5-10' tall, easily kept smaller. Clusters of white flowers in the spring are followed by red berries in autumn. Full to part sun. Tolerant of some drought once established but accepting of moderate summer water. Good as a hedge or specimen plant. Frost hardy in USDA zone 6.
