A compact form, Geranium 'Ballerina' has a dramatic dark eye centering its pink darkly veined flowers all held over small ruffled leaves. One of the best geraniums for edging garden beds or pathways and a long-bloomer that will provide colour for months through spring and summer.
Spreading, rosette forming perennial with cup-shaped, purplish-pink flowers streaked with dark red veins, and shaded at the base by darker hues. Plants bloom over a long summer season, often beginning in late spring. The soft, gray-green foliage is rounded and deeply divided and grows to 4" tall, spreading to 12". Pyrenees.
Pink flowers with dark veins. green leaves.
This hardy geranium is a cutie and a winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its charming flowers --pinkish magenta with a pronounced darker center and contrasting veins -- striking against the gray-green leaves of this tidy, 5" x 10" mounding perennial. A good rebloomer too. Grow in average soil for compactness. Full sun to part sun and occasional summer water. Frost hardy to USDA zone 6.
