Recently released by the U.S. National Arboretum and shared with us by plantsman Ted Stephens, this fabulous, variegated sport of C. dichotoma f. albafructus was discovered at Tennessee Technological University by Dr. Gary Bachman and Mr. Edgar Davis. A gracefully rounded, deciduous shrub, to 5-6 ft tall, the medium green leaves dressed with creamy yellow margins fading to white and clusters of white berries from late summer into late autumn. Easy in full sun to half shade with regular summer for best fruiting. Frost hardy in USDA zone 5-8.

This variegated leaf form has showy green and yellow foliage all summer, pinkish flowers in spring. In late summer profuse clusters of chalky white berries that persist thru fall into winter. Likes morning sun, part shade in afternoon. A real Beauty.
A beautiful new variegated Japanese Beautyberry, which was recently introduced by the US National Arboretum. The brilliantly variegated white and green foliage provide a striking contrast to neighboring shrubs and an excellent backdrop for brightly colored perennials. Produces white berries in summer and fall.
Callicarpas have been sort of a two season plant - delicate blooms in spring, berries in Fall. Variegated 'Duet' has turned it into a 3 season plant with beautiful Variegated foliage to fill in the gap between the blooms and the Knockout white berries. Introduced by the National Arboretum. Medium green leaves with distinct creamy margins. This is the first 'stable' variegated Callicarpa. Arboretum Fact Sheet on Duet.
