A vigorous little prickly pear first given to us by Don Campell from Western Colorado, growing to 18" to 3' wide but only 4 to 6" high with unusually flat pads adorned with long golden spines and deep reddish pink flowers. Good dry or rock garden component. Great container specimen. Full sun. Hardy to USDA zone 5 or below. -20 °F.
