Producing its delightful small silvery-blue lacecaps prolifically over a long (July thru Sept) season, this compact shrub (a dwarfer ?Vicomtesse de Vibraye?) small shrub also provides reddish fall color. PSh/M (not dry)
A small plant with breathtaking beauty  You will not be disappointed with this beautiful variety of Serrata. The frilly appearance of the bloom makes this Blue Deckle even more special. This variety is a bit more pH sensitive than the other serratas and will be pale pink to lavender in neutral soil and pale blue in acid soil. The lacecap blooms crowd the fertile florets as it nestles amongst light green leaves. Like the other serratas, this variety will have dramatic leaf color in the fall.
Has light blue lace cap flowers in summer. The 2’-3’ shrub will be covered with the pretty flowers.

A sterling, highly sought after progeny of renown horticulturist and Hydrangea expert Michael Haworth-Booth's breeding efforts, this low growing Hydrangea lulls us with cool, light blue lacecaps. The central fertile flowers are encompassed and sometimes hidden by prominent serrated sepals that later transmute sea-green and lilac-purple in sumptuous, glimmering shades. Compact and closely set, red-dashed green stems shape its attractive dwarf frame, while launching a fiery autumnal pageant of purple-rimmed, cardinal-colored leaves soon after the prolific blooms begin to fade.

Fabulous hydrangea, small and compact, to only 3.5 ft tall, the abundant flowers pale blue with hints of white and hints of pink -- bluer with acid soil. More lacecap than mophead, these were developed by hydrangea expert Michael Haworth-Booth as a dwarf alternative to H. macrophylla 'Generale Vicomtesse de Vibraye'. Blooms from June/July into autumn when flowers turn towards green with purplish undersides while the leaves take on colors of red and purple. Very nice, very easy in rich, well-drained soil with summer water and nutrients. Frost hardy in USDA zone 5.
