Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This beautiful denizen of the Great Basin, from Oregon south and east pretty much forever, sports silver-gray leaves of less than 1/2" on shrubs no more than 2-3 ft in height growing in rocky outcrops. Spring white flowers age gracefully to cinnamon colors in autumn. Amazingly drought adapted but just fine under normal garden conditions. Full sun; be thrifty with the water. Frost hardy in at least USDA zone 5, probably as low as zone 4.
