Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This newcomer brings creamy-white flowers to an attractive and easy-going old- timer, the wild-rose-like white flowers against bright green foliage and stems of this 3-5' shrub will brighten any corner. S-Sh/M
Came to us from J.C. Raulston as a care package many years ago. The creamy white flowers are single in early spring. This plant is an open shrub 3-4’ tall.
Soft, ivory-white, wild rose-like flowers are a refreshing alternative to the yellow flowers of the species. Set among bright green, wiry stems and bright green textural leaves, it wants to enliven a dark or dull spot. Deciduous shrub 5' x 5'. Minimum temperature: -20°F
Pointed, pleated and serrated, the handsome bright green leaves loosely garb long wiry branches, which extend from the ground in a graceful open fashion, showcasing an abundance of rose-shaped single white blooms. Coveted by florists and gardeners, Japanese Rose achieves a welcome year-round elegance as radiant green polished twigs and upright bare branches retain their verdant color throughout the winter. This tough and undemanding deciduous shrub can be pruned after flowering, endures dry shady spots and likes welldrained soil.
Deciduous shrub, enjoyed especially for its single flowers with oddly shaped petals in creamy, pale yellow. To 6' tall and wide, but easily trimmed, these are lovely in early to mid spring when covered with flowers. Fine in part shade to full sun with occasional summer water. Said to be deer resistant. Frost hardy to -30 °F, USDA zone 4.
