Small cholla from northern Arizona and adjacent places, this collection has white spines rather than the silvery spines of the genus. Tightly held branches form a miniature "tree” to about 3' tall. Greeny yellow flowers are abundant in mid spring. Easy to grow in bright light and gritty soil with occasional summer water. Frost hardy to USDA zone 4. A very good container specimen.
