Sedum reflexum ‘Angelina’ is an outstanding form of Stonecrop with bright golden, spruce-like leaves that turn a chartreuse-yellow and bronze-red in winter. Sedums grow best in well-drained, gravelly soil that is not wet in winter. Drought tolerant. Requires little water once established.

Angelina Sedum is a succulent ground cover with brilliant chartreuse-yellow, needle-like foliage.  Small star-shaped yellow flowers add color to containers, dry slopes and rock gardens. In winter, foliage turns orange in cooler climates. Forms a quick ground cover.  Angelina Sedum is a brilliant accent next to plants with darker foliage.

Sedum reflexum Angelina Zones: 3-11. Fast spreading sedum Angelina is one of the most colorful sedums as it changes with the seasons: From soft chartreuse in spring, bright neon yellow in summer to reddish-orange in fall, to more intense orange with coldest weather. Does best in full sun, with fast draining soil, also in sandy or rocky soil. No fertilizer needed. Perfect in containers or between pavers, let trail over the edge of a rock garden. Use as a bulb cover, or under taller perennials, and on difficult sandy sites. On New Year’s Day here in western Oregon Angelina is always bright and attractive.
Angelina' has brilliant, needle-shaped, golden yellow foliage that develops bright orange tips in cold weather or during summer droughts. The flowers are yellow but are not often produced. 'Angelina' is a vigorous mat-forming sedum that prefers well-drained soil. Great in rock gardens or in pots or perennial hanging baskets due to its trailing habit. This sedum variety is native to Europe. Its needle shaped leaves are a bright yellow. This variety is herbaceous.
An "evergreen" trailing Sedum for sun or partial shade with glowing golden needle like foliage that changes tones with the season. Warm weather brings out chartreuse colors and in cold temperatures 'Angelina' develops warm coppery orange tones. Yellow flowers appear in summer, but should be clipped back as they fade because their brown seed heads detract from the display. Under 3-4" tall, roots along as it spreads. Shipping beefy 4" pots.
Gold, gold, gold, Angelina makes a bright spot in the garden where there's bright light but not too much heat. Spreads slowly providing plants for sharing. Best in evenly moist soil with a bit of compost. Also useful in a container where its foliage is best displayed. Frost hardy in USDA zone 3.
