Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The new young growth of this rounded, 10-15' shrub is a handsome golden yellow, changing to deep green over the season; a spring brightener for hedge or shrub border. S-PSh/M
Upright deciduous tree with a sun kissed appearance…burnished yellow golden new leaves slowly age to apple green by late summer. Less vigorous than the species, growing to a 6-8' multi-stemmed, upright shrub…4" domed cymes of white flowers in late spring turn to lovely red berries aging to black by winter; light shade in hot sun areas will prevent leaf scorch…but too much shade will tone down the gold coloring.
