This distinct Sedum is a tough, attractive and very easy-going evergreen groundcover. Dark-green succulent leaves have a crimson margin in warm temperatures that turns intensely dark-red in cool weather. This creeper forms a dense 4-6" high by 24" wide mat which is especially pretty among paver stones or rockwork. It looks best of all when it is covered with its carmine-red flowers in late summer.
