Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Very cold hardy sedum from Siberia, Mongolia…Forms a low, spreading cluster of leafy stems…narrow leaves are highly textural with deep grooves and they turn red in the spring & fall. To 5" tall and twice as wide. Small sulfur yellow flowers add interest. Winter deciduous…full sun to light shade, well drained gritty soils are best; drought tolerant, great rock garden subject or trough candidate.
This has probably elicited more favorable comments than any sedum we grow, native to Manchuria and Mongolia; the fine textured bronzy red new spring growth is especially tight and cute.
