Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Excellent cultivar, vigorous even in the south! 12" tall and slowly spreading, elongated oval leaves are blue green and generously spotted with silver. Flowers in April bud pink and fade to sky blue. Appreciates humus rich soil that is constantly moist (not wet) and part to full shade. Easy to grow…cut back after bloom to rejuvenate the foliage.
This prized Pulmonaria's periwinkle blue flowers stand 6 to 8 proud inches above handsome, evenly silver-blotched foliage. Broad, Hosta-like green leaves are slightly rough to the touch. It works well as a ground cover in a shaded rock garden and blooms for an exceptionally long time.
