Zn 3. Golden flowers / dark red dot in the center.
A very free flowering perennial, this 12-18" (24" wide over time) mounding perennial produces loads of 2" bright sunny yellow daisies from late spring till frost if deadheaded occasionally! No wonder Coreopsis is in the 'Top 10 Perennials'! Full sun, any soil, fast grower – easy. Good beginner plant for rookie gardeners. These are drought tolerant once established but we find they grow and bloom better with some summer water, though they appreciate a HOT spot in the garden. We take the shears to ours once a month to keep those fresh flowers a comin!
