A globe-shaped conifer with blue-green foliage with white tips. A great low maintenance shrub for the garden.
This adorable 2-6' snow-globe of a conifer is wonderful as an accent plant or in a container. Beautiful deep-green foliage is topped with a dusting of silver-white tips. White-coloring is best with afternoon shade, too much sun will encourage greener growth and the tips have a tendency to sunburn as well. This delightful diminutive shrub is an excellent, slow-growing choice for bonsai. PSh/M
Hard to find, lovely mini conifer, slow growing to about 2'…tips are frosted white giving this beauty a snow kissed glimmer. A natural bonsai specimen, rock garden standout, silvery accent in the shrub border or perhaps in a special pot. Sun (cool climates) to part shade, well drained soil…not too dry. Understated elegance at it's best.
Looks best with afternoon shade where the white tips are more pronounced. In full sun more green shows through.
A dwarf round globe variety of Swara Cypress. Foliage in shade makes a more white plant. The more the sun falls on this plant the more green that comes through. Will sunburn. Plant first in catalog by Hilliers in England. Grows 2-4 inches a year.
