Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Delicate looking, but tough little perennial with evergreen, wavy edged leaves marbled with cream…12-18"h x 8"w, diminutive! It sends up stalks in spring with small cream flowers, but foliage stays nicer if you pinch them out. Light shade seems to be best, most soils, not fussy. This plant is also edible, with a watercress flavor – nice in salads, soups or sautéed in a little butter with salt and pepper!
