Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Lemon-yellow and soft green painted on lacily toothed foliage make this Sage lovely; supposed to be a 12-15" self-branching mounder but it has become a 4-5' beauty, instead?! PSh/M-D
A hardy perennial, grown mostly for its beautiful variegated foliage. The beautiful lemon yellow foliage is splashed with green, forming dense rounded clumps. Likes sun and is hardy in zone 4-8. Deer and rabbit resistant. White pearly flowers in late summer, growing 18-30".
I would consider the species a weed…but this cultivar is pretty and not so vigorous. For that 'hell spot' that we all have in our gardens, where nothing else will grow, this might! Dryish soils, rooty areas, all this plant needs is some sun. It will grow 2-3' tall and spread 3-4'. The foliage is very attractive, variegated lime with cream (and sometimes splashed with yellow too). Witches make a scrying tea and burn the leaves for casting spells…never know when you might have a need for some mugwort!
