Alstroemeria 'Sweet Laura' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In fall and summer yellow flowers emerge. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Lightly fragrant, June to September flowers on 30" stems – golden yellow, brushed with watercolor orange and speckled with merlot – Fantastic in the sunny border – Long lived in the vase – Better soils – summer water – Expanding clump (walks, doesn't run) – An outstanding and very hardy cultivar  USDA Zone 6  3"x 5" pot
The flowers are similar to 'Glory of the Andes but with unvariegated leaves. Best in rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. In cooler regions mulch for winter. While vigorous and floriferous this cultivar is not invasive like other alstroemerias.
Hardy Peruvian Lily. 'Laura'has fragrant yellow blossoms flecked with cinnamon and bronze on 20-30" stems. Provide a sunny spot with good drainage and it will reward with you a long period of bloom, July-September.
