Delicious coppery tones ranging from buff to pumpkin to rust, all present at the same time gives this plant a great tri-color look! Really sets off purples and blues in the garden, blooms all summer and well into fall…2 ½ - 3' tall and 2-3' wide – Full sun – lean, sandy soils are best (too much fertilizer makes stems floppy) dry out between waterings. Great cut, fresh or dried in arrangements.  USDA Zone 4  4" pot
Flowers emerge a rich terra cotta orange and fade to yellow.
Flowers of a unique, mid to pale terra-cotta colour. The leaves and stems are a soft grey-green. Floriferous and quick growing this is among the best Achillea cultivars we have seen yet and one of only a handful of terra-cotta coloured flowers. Now superseded by A. 'Walther Funcke', which is of stronger colour, is stronger stemmed and flowers en masse rather than in dribs and drabs over time.
