Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The handsomely layered branches of this small (to 6-12') lovely almost-native tree are decked with foliage edged with golden-yellow and tinted-red in spring with lacy clusters of white flowers followed by black fruit. S-PSh/M PP11287
a.k.a. 'W. Stackman'. Perfect for illuminating the shady landscape is the new gold variegated selection of Pagoda Dogwood. It has a lovely habit, with horizontal tiered branches, reaching a useful size of 15-20' rather quickly. 15-20" plants in 1 gallon pots for spring shipping.
A fabulous selection with leaves that emerge copper-orange and then turn pale yellow and lime green. Has been a slow grower for us but worth the wait. 15 ' tall & wide.
This new form of C. alternifolia has golden yellow margins rather than the cream variegation of C. alternifolia 'Argentea'. The layered foliage will form a beautiful large shrub or small tree. We presume that c. alternifolia 'Golden Shadows' will be larger than C. argentea (perhaps 20' tall.)
