'Purple Beauty' develops its rich deep color in the fall, when cooler temperatures arrive. In the summer, heat causes the color to be more subdued gray-green with hints of apricot-tan. Plant in lean soil with sharp drainage in full. Sun. Rosette height 3", with blooming stalks reaching 8". spreads where happy.
