Snake Plants prefer a well-drained soil with infrequent watering. If your plant is in a lower light situation, hold off on watering even longer. These plants are very tough and adaptable, but will thrive in medium to bright, indirect light. Plant in containers, rock gardens, Mediterranean gardens or bring them inside to grace your home.
This unique silver-leaved form of the familiar (and foolproof) Snakeplant makes for an unusual addition to shady planters. It seems to be very happy with just bright light or morning sun. Growing 12-18" tall, its succulent 3-4" wide leaves grow 12-18" tall and store water making it very drought tolerant. Easy as pie to winter over indoors. Shipping 4" pots.
A blueish-white form of Sansevieria trifasciata with dark green margins. Very drought tolerant and easy to grow. Makes offsets and will fill a pot nicely.
Stunning silver-leafed cultivar, leaves 2ft. tall, Hardy to 32F.
Attractive light-silvery-green leaves are 3-4" wide and have dark green leaf margins. 'Moonshine' is a relatively new hybrid, and like other sansevierias, it is an indestructible houseplant that thrives on neglect and only needs watering a couple times a month making it a perfect plant for the busy gardener. Sansevierias are also known to remove air toxins from indoor environments. Mature plants send off young 'pups" or sucker plants around the base of the mother plant creating a very full specimen.
