Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Terrestrial orchid, small white flowers, dark striped leaves shade-tolerant.
The Jewel Orchid has velvety fuzzy foliage, burgundy almost black with light pink stripes that run the length of the leaf, producing white flowers on upright stalks in winter to early spring. A very stunning plant as its leaf color is striking. Likes low to medium light, keep away from direct light or strong sun. A great choice for terrariums or under grow lights. Temps should be 75-80 during the day and 55-60 at night. Keep moist and like humidity. Feed very lightly every other week during spring thru fall.
