This little marvel is jaw-dropping! Faucaria tuberculosa, known as Pebbled Tiger’s Jaw, is a unique, clumping succulent with thick green leaves covered in bumps and lined with soft spines. The leaves may tinge red during times of environmental stress. Displays daisy-like, yellow flowers in fall to early winter.
This unusual succulent is easy to care for and has great visual appeal. "Pebbled Tiger Jaws" have thick, fleshy leaves that look like a tiger's open mouth with small tubercles, or nodules, and fine hairs protruding where the teeth would be. This South African native is a clump-forming succulent that has showy yellow flowers in late spring to early summer. Water every one-to-two weeks during the summer months and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. The plants should be kept very dry in winter.
