Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Native to South Africa, this succulent looks like stacks of star-shaped, succulent buttons on stems growing slowly up to 2 ft tall in clumps to 3 ft wide. New leaves are variegated -- appearing yellow with a central blue green stripe and red along the edges -- and very sweet. Older leaves darken to blue green. Best in full sun to part shade always in a soil mix for good drainage. Water regularly in summer when soil is dry and less often in winter. Only frost hardy to 20F, USDA zone 9, so best as a house plant or indoors for the winter.
Small fleshy cream-colored leaves with a central green stripe are arranged in fused pairs along upward sprawling stems. Slow growing.
Tender. Overlapping green and yellow foliage.
This is a variant of the South African Crassula perforata with clustering trailing stems with triangular leaves in opposing pairs. The leaves are pale yellow with frosty green mid-stripes and red margins. Ideal for hanging basket. The flowers are tiny star-shaped arranged in sparse clusters on tall thin stems. Water well when soil is dry, but be cautious in winter as cold, wet soil will cause root rot.
Cannot handle our full sun. Protect from cold. Light Shade. Pale Pink to White Flowers. Indoor/Outdoor (Patio).
