Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Zn 9. Bright green leaves, yellow blooms Evergreen
Kangaroo paws have some of the most distinctive flowers in the botanical world with clusters of fuzzy tubular flowers that look like a kangaroo's paw and that bloom for months! 'Bush Gold' is a strong cultivar with golden yellow flowers on reddish stems to three feet above iris-like, mid-green foliage. Though tolerant of some freezing it would be safest to bring plants inside to a greenhouse or as a houseplant in winter.
20" long bright green leaves topped with very full, well-branched 30" bloom spikes. Bright yellow blooms spring through summer. Attractive to hummingbirds. Hardy to 25 °F.
