Aloe zanzibarica is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. In summer orange flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects and hummingbirds. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

This miniature Aloe forms tight rosettes of short bright green succulent leaves dappled with cream and edged translucent white teeth, that grow in a somewhat columnar way. Red-orange flowers in early spring. EASY!
A small growing, short leafed aloe that grows tall stems with stacks of thick, spotted leaves and rubbery white spines. Eventually produces offsets and makes a nice colony of rosette towers.
