An unusual Peruvian lily in that the flowers, a lovely gold with maroon markings, are also slightly sweet and the leaves are variegated, green edged in creamy yellow. Blooming from June through August, plants form clumps to 3 ft tall x 30" wide. Best in rich soil in full sun to part shade with regular summer water. This cultivar is well-behaved in the garden and doesn't spread. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
Variegated version of the popular ‘Sweet Laura’ cream edged leaves add another level of interest to a great plant! Lightly fragrant, June to September flowers on 30” stems – golden yellow, brushed with watercolor orange and speckled with merlot – Fantastic in the sunny border – Long lived in the vase – Better soils – summer water – Expanding clump (walks, doesn’t run) – An outstanding and very hardy cultivar! USDA Zone 6  3"x 5" pot
My grandmother loved alstroemerias for their beauty, their fragrance and for their longevity as a cut flower. Her Scottish heart loved good value! This cultivar offers fragrant golden-yellow flowers with mahogany markings and variegated leaves. Best in rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. In cooler regions mulch for winter. While vigorous and floriferous this cultivar is not invasive like other alstroemerias.
The variegated form of 'Sweet Laura', from whom it inherited its fragrance and dark lemon-yellow blooms, opening from a maroon bud. The creamy yellow edged leaves stay until frost or stay evergreen in milder zones. One of the hardiest Alstroemerias.
A variegated sport of the very HARDY 'Sweet Laura' with fragrant golden yellow to orange flowers on semi-compact 30" plants. It is excellent cut and blooms for a lenghty period from July-September.
This is a very desireable Peruvian Lily which has 3' stems bearing fragrant vivid gold flowers daubed in the interior with maroon. The cream-edged foliage is just a bonus. Spreads but slowly so not as scary as some. Great cut flower but pull the stems rather than cutting. Not for drought.
