This is a delightful semi-evergreen climber found hanging over cliffs in China. Climbing by aerial roots, this charmer is useful for covering fences or arbors and at only 10-15' it won't get out of control. In summer, it adorns itself with masses of showy hydrangea-like panicles of creamy-white, lightly fragrant blossoms. This vine makes a pretty addition to the woodland or partly shaded garden. PSh-M
Asian counterpart to our Native Woodvamp, with excellent, dense foliage with lustrous, dark green leaves (evergreen in milder climates) climbing by aerial rootlets and can be used to cover walls, fences or to climb trees or arbors. In spring it produces massive quantities of reputedly honey-scented, large inflorescences of many small, off-white blooms borne densely in terminal heads. Unlike other members of the Climbing Hydrangea family, it doesn't produce the sterile flowers that give rise to a lace-cap type bloom but is still extremely showy in flower. Best out of strong wind.

An evergreen (except in cold winters) climber from China in the Hydrangea family. This is a clinger by aerial roots and would love to clamber over a fence or up the trunk of a fir as long as it doesn't get too dry. Showy terminal non-lacecap creamy flowers somewhat scented.
