Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Vibrant smoky-blue-violet flowers enclosed in rosy-red calyces on sturdy, 2-3' upright stems (compact enough for a container!) will be a show stopper in any mid-summer-into-fall garden. S/M-D/GDr
A winning addition to the Agastache color spectrum, the profusion of impressive racemes weaves a smoky blue-violet haze over stalwart stems and lance-shaped blue-green foliage that smells like anise. From July until the first frost, foot long warm-hued spires feature 2-lipped tubular flowers and rosy pink calyxes anchored in spaced whorls. Exceptional in a container or mixed border and easily maintained by an early pinching, this clumping hardy Agastache keeps our interest sparked when cooler nights impart deep purple shades to its tall upright stalks and dapper ample-sized leaves.
There must be something about the aromatic oils in the foliage of this plant 'cause lately things don't seem the same. This has non-stop smokey violet blue flowers from mid summer to frost which infuses Purple Haze all in my brain. Deer proof and tolerant of poor drier soils. 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky.
