Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Grows in compact, low mounds of dark green, glossy leaves. Suitable for pots, rock gardens or border as a small scale ground cover or in groups. Evergreen.
Cute little hairy woodrush…dense, compact mini mops of evergreen grassy foliage 6-8”. No care kind of plant, woodland, rock garden (looks great around rocks!); flowers are insignificant. Deer, mollusk and rabbit resistant. Part sun to part shade, most soils, average moisture (takes some dry shade).
Named after the European hedgehog, this is reminiscent with its ultra-dense tuffets of evergreen leaves. Very low domes of foliage would lend themselves nicely to formal edging of a small bed in light shade or part sun. About as low maintenance as you get. Small unspectacular flowers/seeds.
