Pretty fetching! Cream and light green incised leaves form the best backdrop for the inky-blue upright and open spikes in spring. NOT a spreader!; this clumper grows to 12 inches; a fine example of how related plants don't all share their least desired traits and should always be reconsidered. Of course, sometimes a spreader fills the bill! But, again, this IS a clumper, and one that happens to like bright shade, dappled shade, or light shade. Selection from the garden of Duane West.
