Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Striking golden! (commemorating the 50 year reign of Queen Elizabeth) mint-scented foliage of this All-American Selection is topped, in mid-late summer, by dense spikes of lavender blue; to 20". S/M-D/GDr
As if an Agastache needed more going for it in addition to the long summer bloom period, the beautiful spires of blue-purple flowers, the licorice-mint scent of the foliage, and the bounty of pollen and nectar it provides to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds but here we are with 'Golden Jubilee' which also has big, lush, gorgeous golden foliage. You can't beat this hyssop for a dramatic display in the summer garden.
Not quite as vigorous as the species the chartreuse coloured leaves of this variety make it all the more valuable as a foliage plant. Try a few in a bed of Delphinium 'Blue Butterfly' and Nepeta subsessilis for cool effect, add a backdrop of Humulus lupulus 'Aureus' (Golden hop) and Ipomoea 'Scarlett O'Hara' for a little more oomph.

Golden Hyssop. The gold refers not only to the foliage but to just about every hort award out there. Though this has an inflated ego, it does walk the talk. Bright chartreuse leaves and fuzzy bottlebrush bluish lavender flowers midsummer to fall. Drought tolerant, poor soil, deer resistant.
This hyssop is creating a big buzz in the garden world, primarily for its rich yellow to chartreuse foliage. A compact grower to only 20” tall x 15” wide, it bears, in Summer, 4” purple spikes much loved by hummers, butterflies & bees. The foliage is nicely serrated & heavily mint-scented. ‘Golden Jubilee’ loves heat & makes nice cut flowers.
