Tall, upright parsimonious yet graceful fronds 3-4 inches wide reaching up to 4 feet. Plant in partial sun to full shade & well drained soil. Zone 4 to 8. Evergreen.
Very nice ornamental fern found during the fern crazy days of the Victorian era. This is semi-evergreen with terribly attractive narrow upright fronds to 3' or more and makes an eyecatching clump. Tolerant of some dry but better on the moist side. These are uncommonly large plants.
