4-Legged Freaks! Lycosus epimediensus; alien looking yellow spiders walking tippy-toe, the effect is uncanny due to the extremely long curved spurs, these look like they could walk away and hunt some prey. Ender says the protruding stamens are actually a disintegrator ray projector, vine weevils beware, flee or be vaporized, earthlings take notice lishihchenii is one of the coolest new Epimediums we have seen. E. lishihchenii Cc.950008 - ZONE 5
A bit an intimidating name but the plant is a stunner and looks more like a hybrid of some sort. Bright yellow, long spurred flowers above thick, evergreen foliage that takes on bronze and pink hues in spring.
Despite sounding like sneeze, a great Epimedium with large evergreen foliage beautifully salmon colored in spring. This pairs incredibly well with the large, long-spurred soft yellow flowers. This is quite cold tolerant with the foliage holding up quite well into the single digits in winter.
