Escobaria vivipara is native to all of the states and provinces of western North America except BC and WA. This super hardy cactus forms small, spine-covered balls or cylinders that usually grow into low clusters. The flowers are usually pink or magenta but can also be yellow. Grow in sharp drainage.
A small cacti with brilliant magental flowers on small, barrel shaped plants. Extremely adaptable and cold hardy, native to most of the states in the Western half of the US and up into Canada, hardy to zone3 or even perhaps 2 if kept very dry.
Very nice and very hardy cactus native to Or & Ca & Texas up into Alberta. This clumps up nicely with multiple little "barrels" which are topped with showy magenta flowers in late spring/early summer. Good drainage a must and some protection from winter wet if you live outside of PT.
