Ligularia vorobievii is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with black and purple foliage. In spring and summer yellow flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - high water. Does well in rich soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant.
Rare and although it is new to us, we are comfortable saying choice. Nice glossy rounded rich green leaves and vibrant spikes of yellow-orange flowers on dark stems to 5'. Does fine in sun or part shade but if in full sun than a rich very moist soil is a must. Hardy in Norway.
