Aeonium 'Pinwheel' is a tall, freely-branching succulent which features rosettes of olive to blue-green pointed leaves tinged red. Displays clusters of creamy yellow flowers. Unique for its semi-dormant behavior in summer and active growth in winter. Provide a well-drained soil away from reflected heat. Requires little water once established. Ideal in warm climate landscapes and container gardens, but is especially happy sitting on your windowsill as a houseplant. Protect your PRINCE OF PARADISE™ plant from frost!
Open rosettes, to 3-4" wide, of bluish green leaves with red edges top this multi-branched shrub from the Canary Islands. To up to 2' tall and wide, with late spring flowers of pale yellow to white that rise above the foliage. Full sun to light shade on the coast or light to full shade inland. Prefers well-drained soil and little to no summer water. Frost hardy to 20 °F, USDA zone 9 so, where winter temperatures are colder, best in a pot with winter protection.
An evergreen, succulent sub-shrub. Rosettes of tightly packed, spoon shaped, glaucous green, fleshy leaves are held on succulent, grey to brown barked stems.
